Yungeen Ace has gone through a lot in his life. Kenyata Bullard, a rapper from Jacksonville, has published two mixtapes, served time in prison, and survived a gunshot that killed his brother and two close friends. On his biggest track to date, “Pain,” Ace focuses on the murders of his closest friends.
Yungeen Ace was born on February 12, 1998, in East Chicago, Indiana, and raised in Florida. His huge family struggled to make ends meet, and he grew up moving from house to house. Yungeen Ace had a vlog channel with his fiancée before his rap career took off.
His local clique, the Yungeen Gang, which was created by senior members Flip Tha Yungeen and Trigga Romo, became an important part of his life. Ace has since left the organization after being snitched on by an anonymous member. His rap name was inspired by the character Ace from the 2002 film Paid in Full.
Just as his track “Go To War” went big on YouTube, Yungeen Ace was sentenced to a year in prison. His job was placed on hold until he was released. He launched the tune “All In” in February 2018, and it got so popular that he signed a record deal with Cinematic Music Group. Since then, he’s released four additional albums, the most recent of which is 2020’s Don Dada.
