Bryson Lashun Potts (born November 1, 2002) is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, better known by his stage name NLE Choppa (previously YNR Choppa). He is well known for his popular tune “Shotta Flow,” which has over 121 million views and reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 as of January 2020. The song was so well-liked that it was remixed by rapper Blueface.

YNR (Young N Ruthless) Choppa was his original stage name, and he released numerous tracks under that guise. He quickly changed his name to NLE Choppa, with the NLE standing for his brand “No Love Entertainment.”

On January 30, 2019, he released “ChopBloc,” his first major duet with BlocBoy JB. “Camelot,” “Shotta Flow 3,” and “Famous Hoes” are among the other big singles.

On December 20, 2019, Choppa released his debut EP, Cottonwood, featuring a sole guest appearance from Blueface on the “Shotta Flow” remix. Three days later, on December 23, Choppa released the deluxe version with one extra track titled “Cruze,” featuring Meek Mill.

Choppa’s debut studio album, Top Shotta, was released on August 7, 2020, and featured guest performances from Mulatto, Roddy Ricch, Chief Keef, and Lil Baby.
