Her retribution on a misogynistic Senator is depicted in the song video.
Megan Thee Stallion returned today with “Thot Shit,” the first song off the upcoming Tina Snow II. Over an OG Parker & LilJuMadeDaBeat beat, the Houston rapper brags about her figure, recent Grammy victories, and imminent college graduation.
The song was accompanied by a music video in which she takes vengeance on a misogynistic Senator.
She praises her figure in the first verse of the song:
I walk around the house butt-naked
And I stop at every mirror just to stare at my own posterior
She addresses the Recording Academy in the second verse, which is responsible for awarding the Grammys. Megan won three trophies during this year’s ceremony, including Best New Artist: Female.
Actin’ like you winnin’, if you think about it, actually
Are they supportin’ you or really just attackin’ me?
I don’t give a f-ck ‘bout a blog tryna bash me
I’m the sh-t per the Recording Academy (Ah)
Finally, she mentions graduating from college in 2021 in the third verse. She claimed on Twitter earlier this year that she would graduate after the fall 2021 semester:
Everything I eat go straight to my pockets
2021, finna graduate college
Goth girl sh-t, I’m a real hot topic
Meanwhile, the music video for “Body” begins with an unidentified Senator making a scathing comment on the video. Megan then phones the Senator, informing him that the women he denigrates online are the ones in charge of his life, and then continues to run him over with a garbage truck, harass him at home, and perform some unwelcome surgery on him.
